Frequently asked questions.

Can anyone learn how to do reiki?

Yes! All people have natural healing ability. Our reiki courses helps to unlock this innate ability and connect with your spirituality. Like all things, some people will pick it up faster than others, but everyone can unlock reiki healing ability.

What does a typical Reiki session involve - what can I expect to happen at a first session and how long will it last?

Our reiki treaments are carried out in a space that is quiet and relaxing, with the option of soft music in the background. The practitioner will have a short conversation with you to determine your needs and identify any potential relevant health issues. For the session, you will be fully-clothed and laid down on a treatment table. Reiki will be given through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner's hands placed and held on a series of locations on the body.

How often would I have to have the treatment to feel a benefit?

This is different for everyone and very much dependant on your circumstances. You should feel a benefit after the very first session, but repeated sessions will help you to maintain holistic balance. Think of it as a form of self care, like a massage. You can have sessions regularly, or as and when you feel you need one.

How long does it typically take to become a Reiki Master?

Everyone’s route to becoming a Reiki Master is different. You will be required to have completed levels one and two before completing your Reiki Master training, and we would recommend gaining some experience in providing reiki after your level two course and before embarking on the Master course.
